CHARACTERISTICS OF SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEURS

In the history of business, we come across names of people who have emerged as successful entrepreneurs like Abraham Graham bell of AT & A, Bill Gates of Microsoft, Masoyoshi Son of Softbank and Sprint, Robert Kiyosaki of the Rich Dad empire and the list goes on.

The profile of these entrepreneurs is found quite amusing. Some highly educated; others college/high school drop outs , some are inheritors  others self made, some achievers in their thirties; others did not approach success until their fifties. Nevertheless there are certain question that often arise in the mind of people about these successful entrepreneurs, questions like “what made them successful? What do these successful people have in common?” After going through their personalities, it was discovered that there were some characters they share in common.

These were the principle characteristic that shared.

·         HARD WORK

The willingness to work hard distinguishes a successful entrepreneur from an unsuccessful one. Most successful entrepreneurs dedicate their time to hard work, especially at the beginning and the same becomes a habit for the rest of their life.

·         DESIRE FOR ACHIEVEMENT AND OPTIMISM

Those entrepreneurs that move on to become successful have a strong desire to achieve high goals in business, this motivates them to surmount obstacles, suppress anxieties, repair misfortunes and devise expedient and set up, running a successful business. In all they stay very positive never giving up hope.

·         FORESIGHT

Every entrepreneur that intends to be successful must have a good foresight, always forecasting into the future and looking at the business on the long run. Researching to know more about, the business environment, opportunities, and challenges and looking for necessary timely action.

·         INNOVATIVE

The entrepreneur creates products to meet consumers need and requirement, in respect to change in time; therefore research and thinking outside the box are activities that must be carried out.

·         PERSEVERANCE

This is one strong quality that every successful entrepreneur posses as they do not give up on their effort even if they fail. They face challenges and failure, but do not become dishearten instead they learn from their mistakes and move on.

·         TEAM SPIRIT

Team work results in synergy. Successful entrepreneurs build teams to share their vision with and work with team mates to bring the vision to reality. The team should work as a group having a face to face relationship amongst individuals in achieving the common goal. 

These characters were found in the life of successful entrepreneurs, if you desire to be successful start cultivating them.
